Who can donate blood?

  • Anyone between 18-65 years of age.
  • The donor's haemoglobin levels should be more than 12.5gm/dl.
  • They should at least weigh 45 kgs.
  • The interval between two donations should be 3 months or more for males and 4 months for females.
  • The donor should be a healthy person overall and be free from any active illnesses.
  • one must donate blood at licensed blood donation centres only.
